VFX | Explosions

Inspired by RT FX| Link to reference: https://www.deviantart.com/rt-fx
References for the explosion 2 and 3:

I wanted to use what I learned and I reproduced the explosions 2 and 3 using the reference of RTFX. I wanted to try to make them by only using Unreal Engine without using sprite sheets or hand-drawn animation like this artist does.

For the erosion technic, I based myself on this video:

For this project, I started with the fact that I wanted something similar to the references and that's how I built little by little the systems in 3 days of work.

VFX | Explosion 1

This is the result after doing the exercise of reproducing the references of RTFX in Unreal. It's a mix of what I learned of how to do that kind of explosion by only using dots and rings for materials.

Breakdown
Noise generates in Unreal with the node. Same for the rings, dot and rhombus (based on my Math Shapes Exercise). The spark was made in Photoshop using vectors in ellipses shapes to do the middle and the lines (same ref. as in EnergyCharge).

Breakdown
All the materials were generated by nodes and none of them are using textures made by hand. I wanted to apply what I learned and make it look as much as possible as the references from RTFX.
