Final Planet - Abilities Part 1

School Project in progress for this semester (Winter 2019)

This project was already beginning last semester and won the selection for the final project. I joined the team recently and I am in charge of doing most of the visual effects with another teammate.

This project is an action/coop video game mix with a top-down shooter.
We are a team of around 30 people and we will work on it for 8 weeks.

Preview of the game:

At the service of a mega-obscure company with intentions that escape you, you have to navigate from planet to planet in quest of a rare and precious resource who can only be found on a small chain of planets. Your squat will face will face more and more intense and perilous situations. Your dead wouldn't even be the end since additional clones will be sent to replace you.

VFX - Force field
It will act as a shield and prevent damage from the enemies.

This is a testing level to show the impact effect on the force field.

The material was based on some tutorials (the ones in the description) but I experimented and mixed to get the result I have now.

Old Time Freeze (Not done by me) I based my particle effect on this one and change mostly the textures and a little bit the animation.

ForceWall - CANCELED (not in the game anymore. The 3d model was made by Alexandre Choinière and I made the textures/effect for it.)
